SEASON 3 - EMEA AMATEUR
EVENT CHANGES
TEAM MANAGEMENT - ATTENDING MATCHES
In season 2, teams were allowed to play with a minimum of 2 players in case any players were missing or having issues.
For season 3 and future seasons, teams are only allowed to play a maximum of 1 match per event stage with a minimum of 2 players. All other matches must be played with a minimum of 3 players.
This rule has been set to provide more fair play towards other competitors and to make clear that we will no longer tolerate rule-breaking behaviour.
PENALTIES FOR LEAVING
Teams and/or individual players will from now on receive a ban when leaving any tournament stage early.
Just as the changes for team management, this rule is set to provide fair play for all competitors and punish those who damage their and/or all other team(s).
Individual players leaving their team early will receive a 2-season ban. A full team leaving early will result in a 1-season ban.
TEAM MANAGEMENT - MAJOR FINALS PLAYERS
Teams participating in the amateur league may from now on not have more than 1 player from the 2 most recent major PUBG event finals in their team.
The 2 most recent major finals to us, attending Season 3, are the PCS 3 Finals and the DreamHack Winter Showdown Finals.
INTRODUCING SEEDING
A teams placement in the qualifier stages will from now on have an impact on who they will face in the next round!
The top 8 teams proceeding from a lobby will follow specific seeding, explained below:
-
The group winner and 4th ranked team will be placed in the same group in the following round.
-
The group runner-up and 3rd ranked team will be placed in the same group in the following round.
-
Each group can only have 2 group winners, 2 runner-ups, 2 third ranked teams and 2 fourth ranked teams from the previous round.
-
Teams ranking 5th to 8th will be randomly assigned.
